Internship search

I am starting to get a little bit nervous because I still dont have an internship and the semesters end is getting closer and closer. I am looking for something in sales or marketing at a big to medium size company, but it is so hard to stand out in there stacks of resumes. I am going to keep trying and hopefully it works out for me. Keep your fingers crossed.

I am from Wisconsin, which means I have grown up with snow. Naturally winter sports have always been part of my life, but snowboarding has always been my favorite. So word has it that one of America's greatest...Americans/football players is actually going to retire! I am actually a Chicago bears fan but when the bears and packers arent playing I am a packers fan, and a huge Brett Favre fan. I almost feel like I have grown up watching him play football my whole life. I know that he is very loved back home in Wisconsin, which is why I am truly wondering how people are taking this back home. I am going to really miss him, if he is actually retiring from football this time.

One of my friends recently started a holdings company in Orlando (what this is, I am not sure) and when he did one of the first things he did was look into insurance plans to take care of him his company and all of its employees. I think that this is one of the smartest things that he could have done because today economy is very unpredictable and Florida weather can be even more unpredictable. This is why is it is so import to have all of your bases covered when you jump into the business world.

Finally a good group

I have finally been assigned a good group for a class project. This is a rare thing that I get connected with people that are driven and focus. Lets hope this group works out well.

Money can be a really tricky thing to work with. More so, mortgages can be even harder. I believe this more than ever these days because I have seen so many people look at a Mortgage Quote and think that they can pull through and eventually get the money, but they never do. Now this is not always the case, but lately I have been really close to some people who have experience things go wrong. For instance, recently a family friend went and bought a new house in a really nice community. He took out a mortgage on his house, and bought a new truck, started buying things for his business. There marriage began to stress and before they new it they were so far in debt that they had to give their house to the bank.
